How Air Con works
When the air conditioning is switched on the refrigerant is compressed by the compressor into a high pressure gas the high pressure gas it is then cooled via the condenser which turns Turns if for a high pressure gas into a high pressure liquid which then passes through the dryer to remove any moisture. It then passes the the expansion valve which is a small orifice it this sudden change in pressure which causes the liquid to cool and as it passes through the evaporator the liquid turn back into a gas on he low pressure side and the process starts again.
